Your Right To Benefits
For Your Disabling Condition
When a disabling condition forces a productive member of society out of the workforce, they typically start to worry about their impending loss of income and how it will affect their family. I understand this concern all too well, having helped hundreds of people with disabilities in nearly three decades.
Thankfully, there are two federal programs in place that provide financial support to individuals with disabilities: Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI).
Obviously, simply saying you’re disabled isn’t enough to qualify for these benefits, though. You must first meet the Social Security Administration’s definition of a disability, which requires an individual to have a condition that:
- Leaves them unable to work or perform substantial gainful activity
- Will last at least one year or end in death
Hopeful individuals must then endure the lengthy and incredibly complicated application process, which will ask them to show:
- The existence or absence of a work history
- Medical evidence that supports the claim for disability benefits
- Proof that the applicant’s condition leaves them unable to work
- Testimonies that show the condition’s impact on the individual’s life
There is no room for mistakes with a benefits application, though. Even minor mistakes can cost you access to your benefits. I will try everything in my power to make sure this doesn’t happen to you.
I make sure you avoid the pitfall of mistakes and help you get the benefits you need and deserve.
