TODD COUNTY, KY – PEDESTRIAN FATALLY STRUCK BY VEHICLE ON US-79
Todd County, KY (April 9, 2022) – A pedestrian accident reported early Wednesday morning in Todd County has claimed one person’s life. On April 6, the Kentucky State Police from Post 2 were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on US Highway 79.
Reports provided by KSP show that a 31-year-old man was walking in the 9000 block of US Highway 79. For unknown reasons, he was struck by a vehicle.
The pedestrian crash resulted in fatal injuries. Emergency crews responded to the scene to render aid to the victim. However, he was pronounced deceased on-site.
Detectives with KSP Post 2 are currently investigating the accident.
