OAK GROVE, KY – WOMAN INJURED IN TWO-VEHICLE CRASH ON I-24
Oak Grove, KY (April 19, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Christian County on Monday left one woman injured. On April 18, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of an auto accident on Interstate 24.
Reports from the CCSO show that a man was traveling west on Interstate 24 at around 1 p.m., when the vehicle in front of him began to slow down. The man was unable to stop his vehicle. As a result, he crashed into a cable barrier in the median. The vehicle then struck an SUV, driven by another adult man from Paducah.
A female involved in the accident, who lives in Dover, Ohio, sustained injuries in the crash. She was transported by ambulance to Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
