LOGAN COUNTY, KY – TWO ADULTS, ONE INFANT HURT IN HORSE AND BUGGY CRASH ON MORGANTOWN RD NEAR THE 79 LOOP
Logan County, KY (April 22, 2022) – The Logan County Sheriff’s Department and firefighters were dispatched to the site of a major collision that left several people injured. On April 21, calls for assistance came in surrounding a crash that occurred on Morgantown Road.
Reports provided by the LCSD show that a 61-year-old man was driving south on Morgantown Road in a pickup truck when he failed to see a horse and buggy on the roadway ahead. As a result, the two vehicles collided near 79 Loop.
The impact of the crash caused two adults and one infant child to be ejected from the buggy.
A 21-year-old man and 21-year-old woman were both transported to the Medical Center in Bowling Green for emergency treatment. An infant child was treated at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation by the Logan County Sheriff’s Department.
