FATAL CAR ACCIDENTS IN KENTUCKY

After being involved in a motor vehicle accident, many victims pursue personal injury lawsuits. These legal claims allow injured parties to obtain financial compensation to help cover their damages. In many cases, victims will pursue compensation for the pain and suffering that they face as a result of their accidents.

Pain and suffering are generally considered noneconomic damages for victims. This is due to the fact that victims do not face a true economic loss or expense related to the pain and suffering they experience. In Kentucky, there is no limit on how much compensation victims can recover for non-economic damages.

When victims end up passing away as a result of their injuries, the ability to file a legal claim is passed on to their families. Family members are able to pursue wrongful death claims against negligent drivers. A wrongful death lawyer in Leitchfield can help you pursue a claim after losing a loved one.
