Hopkinsville, KY – Woman Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on S Main St
Hopkinsville, KY (September 9, 2022) – A vehicle collision in the Hopkinsville area sent one woman to an area hospital with significant injuries. On September 9, the Hopkinsville Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on South Main Street.
According to law enforcement, two vehicles collided on South Main Street during the morning hours in the Hopkinsville area. Preliminary reports into the accident show that a 60-year-old man from Parsons, Tennessee, was driving his vehicle South on South Main Street. As he attempted to merge into the left lane, the vehicle collided with a southbound vehicle. The southbound vehicle was operated by a 73-year-old woman from Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
A passenger in the southbound vehicle, a 53-year-old woman from Hopkinsville, Kentucky, suffered back injuries due to the crash. EMS transported the woman to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for medical care.
The Hopkinsville Police Department is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
