Hopkinsville, KY (August 9, 2022) – One man was left with significant injuries following a vehicle collision in Christian County on Monday afternoon. At around 2:30 p.m., on August 8, the Hopkinsville Police Department and emergency personnel with the Hopkinsville Fire and EMS responded to a crash that occurred on Fort Campbell Boulevard.

The Police in Hopkinsville report that a man was driving a vehicle on Fort Campbell Boulevard when he became involved in a collision. As a result, the vehicle went off the roadway and struck the front of a Game Xchange store.

Firefighters responded to the scene and prompted an evacuation of the building due to the extent of the damage.

One man was injured as a result of the accident. The man was provided care briefly at the scene by responding EMS workers. The victim was then transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for further care.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation by the Hopkinsville Police Department.
