HOPKINSVILLE, KY – FIVE INJURED IN MVA ON MADISONVILLE RD NEAR KENTUCKY 1682
Hopkinsville, KY (May 6, 2022) – A major motor vehicle accident reported in Christian County on Monday evening left several people injured. On May 2, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that took place on Madisonville Road.
According to reports, at around 8 p.m., a pickup truck was traveling southbound on Madisonville Road. As the vehicle attempted to turn onto Kentucky 1682, it collided with a northbound sedan. The impact of the crash caused the sedan to strike a van that was stopped at the intersection.
Four people in the van sustained injuries. A passenger in the sedan was also injured. All five victims were transported by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for the treatment of injuries.
At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
