FALLS OF ROUGH, KY – TWO TEENS INJURED IN GOLF CART CRASH ON PARADISE ACRES RD

Falls of Rough, KY (July 4, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Grayson County sent two teens to area hospitals with injuries. During the morning hours of July 2, the Falls of Rough Fire Department was dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 300 block of Paradise Acres Road.

Reports provided by authorities show that a golf cart was involved in a collision on the roadway at approximately 10:50 a.m. Two people on the golf cart, a 17-year-old and a 13-year-old were both ejected from the vehicle.

The 13-year-old victim suffered significant injuries to his lower leg and ankle area. The 17-year-old victim suffered severe mid-leg injuries and head injuries.

The two victims were transported to Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center for emergency medical treatment. The 17-year-old was then airlifted to a hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

At this time, the Grayson County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the crash.
