Cadiz, KY – Three Injured in Canton Rd Crash Near a Taste of the South Restaurant
Cadiz, KY (September 5, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Cadiz, just outside of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, sent three people to area hospitals with injuries. On September 3, emergency crews were called to the scene of a collision that took place on Canton Road.
Just before 1 p.m., a man in a dark gray sedan was exiting the parking lot for the A Taste Of The South Restaurant. As he pulled his vehicle out into the roadway, he pulled into the path of a southbound dark gray SUV, driven by a man from South Fulton, Tennessee. As a result, the two vehicles collided.
The drivers of both vehicles, and a passenger inside of the SUV, were all injured in the accident. The three victims were transported to Trigg County Hospital, where they were treated for injuries.
The police and firefighters remained at the crash site for an extended period. The accident remains under investigation at this time.
