BOWLING GREEN, KY – TWO-CAR CRASH ON E 6TH AVE NEAR CHESTNUT ST ENDS IN INJURIES
Bowling Green, KY (April 18, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Sunday evening in the Bowling Green area ended in injuries. At around 5:50 p.m., on April 17, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on East 6th Avenue.
Reports provided by local authorities show that a black sedan and a light-colored sedan collided on Chestnut Street at the intersection of East 6th Avenue during the evening hours. The impact of the crash sent the light-colored sedan onto the sidewalk where it crashed into a building.
Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and had to be towed from the scene.
Injuries were confirmed in this accident. Medical Center EMS rendered aid to victims on-site before transporting them to area hospitals for further care. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
