BOWLING GREEN, KY – TRUCK ACCIDENT ON I-65 NEAR MM 31 ENDS IN INJURIES
Bowling Green, KY (August 7, 2022) – A commercial vehicle accident took place in the Bowling Green area on Saturday afternoon that left at least one person with confirmed injuries. Just after 3 p.m., on August 6, the Bowling Green Police Department and local firefighters were notified that a crash had occurred on Interstate 65.
Investigations surrounding the accident indicate that a semi-truck and a second vehicle collided on the northbound side of Interstate 65 near mile marker 30. The cross blocked multiple lanes of the roadway, causing delays throughout the area.
Local law enforcement blocked a portion of the roadway as they worked to clear the scene and allow through traffic.
At least one person who was involved in this accident suffered injuries. Paramedics provided treatment to the victims at the scene before transporting them to area hospitals, where they underwent further treatment and evaluation.
