Bowling Green, KY (June 2, 2022) – Authorities were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a truck accident in the Bowling Green area on Wednesday evening, June 1. Just after 4:50 p.m., the Bowling Green Police Department, firefighters, and EMS were all dispatched to the scene of a crash on Interstate 65.

Reports from local authorities indicate that a semi-truck and a second vehicle collided on the northbound side of Interstate 65 near mile marker 30. The incident blocked the middle and right lanes of the roadway.

EMS rendered aid to the victims on-site before transporting those in need of further care to area hospitals.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
