BOWLING GREEN, KY - PEDESTRIAN STRUCK BY VEHICLE ON PIONEER DR NEAR COUNTRY OVEN BAKERY
Bowling Green, KY (August 13, 2022) - A pedestrian accident was reported in the Bowling Green area on Friday afternoon that left one person injured. At around 3:10 p.m., on August 12, the Bowling Green Police Department and Bowling Green Fire Department responded to a crash on Pioneer Drive.
BGPD reports show that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Pioneer Drive in the area near the Country Oven Bakery. The police and firefighters closed off a section of the roadway while tending to the injured victim.
The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital where they underwent emergency medical treatment.
The incident remains under investigation by the Bowling Green Police.
