BOWLING GREEN, KY – MEDICAL ASSISTANCE NEEDED AT THREE-VEHICLE INJURY CRASH ON CENTRAL AVE NEAR MITCH MCCONNELL WAY
Bowling Green, KY (July 1, 2022) - Emergency crews in the green area responded to the scene of a major collision that left at least one person injured. Just after 8 a.m., on June 30, the Bowling Green Police Department, the Bowling Green fire department, and emergency medical services responded to the scene of a crash that occurred on Central Avenue.
Reports provided by the police show that a black sedan, a red pickup truck, and a silver SUV collided on Central Avenue in the area near Mitch McConnell Way. All three vehicles sustained damage as a result of the accident and came to rest blocking the intersection. The police and firefighters closed off several lanes at the intersection as they worked to clear the area.
Medical personnel responded to the site of the crash to render aid to victims. At least one person was transported to an area hospital where they underwent further treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
