BOWLING GREEN, KY – INJURIES FOLLOW VEHICLE WRECK ON I-65 NEAR MM 20
Bowling Green, KY (July 30, 2022) – At least one person was left injured following a Bowling Green car accident on Friday evening. Just after 4:50 p.m., on July 29, the Kentucky State police and emergency medical services (EMS) were required to assist at the scene of a crash on Interstate 65.
Investigations from the Kentucky State Police show that a collision between vehicles occurred on the southbound side of the interstate during the early evening hours. The crash blocked the highway near mile marker 20.
Police officers and firefighters secured a portion of the roadway while working to assist at the scene.
Emergency medical services were notified that their assistance was needed on site. Medical personnel rendered aid to the victims at the scene. At least one person required further assistance and was transported to a nearby hospital.
The Kentucky State Police is investigating the crash at this time.
