BOWLING GREEN, KY – CRASH AT UNIVERSITY DR NEAR COLLEGE HEIGHTS BLVD ENDS IN INJURIES
Bowling Green, KY (July 3, 2022) – Emergency crews in the Bowling Green area responded to the scene of a major collision that left at least one person injured. At around 6:50 p.m., on July 1, the Bowling Green Fire Department, the Western Kentucky University Police Department, the Bowling Green Police Department, and emergency medical services responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on University Drive.
Reports provided by authorities show that a collision between vehicles occurred on University Drive at the intersection of College Heights Boulevard. The incident caused significant delays in traffic throughout the area as emergency crews closed off several lanes at the intersection.
Injuries were confirmed in this accident. At least one person was transported to a local hospital where they underwent emergency medical care.
