CAR ACCIDENTS IN KENTUCKY

Motor vehicle accidents in the state of Kentucky leave over 2500 people injured every month. Many people are left with significant injuries that demand emergency medical care. Unfortunately, the majority of accidents that we see in our state are entirely preventable. However, we continue to see innocent people suffer severe injuries due to the negligence of others.

Some of the most common causes of crashes in our state include:

  • drivers who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol while operating their vehicles

  • drivers who travel too fast for road conditions and inclement weather

  • drivers who fail to yield to others while changing lanes and making turns at intersections

  • drivers who run red lights and pass stop signs

People who engage in these and other reckless actions can cause serious accidents that negatively affect the lives of those involved. Unfortunately, we see many types of accidents take place in our state every day. Many people are injured and head-on collisions, rear-end crashes, or even T-bone accidents.
