BOWLING GREEN, KY – CAR VS MOTORCYCLE AT SCOTTSVILLE RD & I-65 ENDS IN INJURIES
Bowling Green, KY (May 19, 2022) – A motorcycle accident took place in the Bowling Green area on Tuesday afternoon that sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries. At around 3 p.m., on May 17, the Bowling Green Police Department, firefighters, and EMS were all dispatched to the site of an auto accident that occurred on Scottsville Road.
Reports provided by the police department indicate that a car and a motorcycle were involved in an accident on Scottsville Road in the area of Interstate 65. Preliminary investigations show that a woman in a vehicle made an illegal U-turn while traveling through the area. As a result, a collision between a motorcycle and the sedan ensued. The motorcyclist slid under the sedan and was run over by the vehicle.
The male on the motorcycle sustained injuries as a result of the accident and was transported to a local hospital for care. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
