BOWLING GREEN, KY – AUTO WRECK WITH INJURIES BLOCKS I-65 S NEAR EXIT FOR US-31 W
Bowling Green, KY (April 8, 2022) – An auto wreck reported in the Bowling Green area ended in injuries. Just after 1:50 p.m., on April 6, the Bowling Green Police and firefighters were requested at a crash on Interstate 65.
Reports from the police show that an auto accident blocked several lanes on the southbound side of Interstate 65. The incident caused severe delays near the exit for US Highway 31 West. The delays extended back toward Exit 117 near the Portland water tower area.
At least one person involved in the accident was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation at this time.
