BOWLING GREEN, KY – ACCIDENT WITH INJURIES REPORTED ON SCOTTSVILLE RD NEAR MT LEBANON RD
Bowling Green, KY (May 11, 2022) – A vehicle collision that occurred in the Bowling Green area on Tuesday evening ended in injuries. At around 7:20 p.m., on May 10, the Bowling Green Police Department was dispatched to the site of an auto accident on Scottsville Road.
Reports provided by authorities show that a collision between vehicles occurred on Scottsville Road in the area near Mt Lebanon Road. An orange car involved in the accident sustained severe front-end damage. Authorities were notified that at least one person may be trapped inside their vehicle. One of the vehicles involved in the accident caught on fire after the initial collision.
Firefighters and police responded to the scene and immediately closed off the roadway. Crews battled the blaze and extricated those trapped inside the vehicles.
Medical personnel rendered aid to victims at the scene of the accident before transporting them to area hospitals for further medical care.
At this time, the Bowling Green police are investigating the crash.
